This is the day, where usually families will get together, and dine together,
in the cold, white winter, besides the warm fireplace.
This is the day where, childrens are running happily here and there, with cousins,
and mothers busy telling them stories that makes her children's imagination goes wild,
and fantasies that will make them lives in their dreams.
This is the day, where parents tried their best to fulfil their offspring wishes,
with boxes of presents, or just a plain warm milk and cookies.
And, this is the day, where a friend used to bugged me, about how people are celebrating her birthday and, despite feeling awful people forget about it, she'd keep it quiet, and desperately, with a smile that will melt everyone's heart, wishing a joyful holidays, but still, wanted me to remember that today, was her birthday, for at least, she knew someone would.
Little that she knew that they'll always remember what day today is, and, every year, they, and I, will make her surprise.
